In case you haven’t heard, sartorialists have a new favourite TV show. Following the March 3 premiere of on Amazon Prime Video, we have been clamouring for anything and everything 1970’s inspired.
The fashion-approved series is based on the cult-favourite 2019 novel of the same name, has won the hearts of influencers and editors alike and we have collectively fallen in love with the main characters on the show from Camila Morrone’s heartwarming portrayal of Camilla Alvarez to Riley Keough’s dazzling reimagining of the Stevie Nicks-like Daisy Jones.

We’ve already shared what we think the stars of the show would wear IRL, but when it comes to beauty we are equally curious… would Karen Sirko be a dry shampoo girl? (Yes.) How would Daisy Jones remain fresh faced after a big night out?
Here are all the products we think the characters of the American musical drama would love today:
The beauty product Daisy Jones would love

This rockstar would be an avid fan of the almost-medicinal properties of Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray. Helping to revitalise skin and impart dewy radiance the key ingredients are aloe, rosewater and botanical extracts including gardenia, bladderwrack and thyme. We have a feeling she’d use this cult-favourite facial spray on the regular to revive dehydrated (aka hungover-induced) skin.

The beauty product Camilla Alvarez would love

With her famously pouty lips, latin beauty Camilla Alvarez’s makeup agenda involves plenty of pale nude lips that were de rigueur in the 1970s. We think she would make sure to lessen the look of dry lips with Fresh’s Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator. Infused with luxurious brown sugar crystals which slough away dead and dull skin cells, its the perfect way to prep her pout for her favourite nude lipstick.
£16.50 FROM LOOK FANTASTICThe beauty product Karen Sirko would love

When designing the hairstyle for Suki Waterhouse’s character Karen the show’s hairdresser Maryann Hennings reveals that the inspiration was “Of course, Brigitte Bardot.” Thus we know Karen Sirko would be lost without her dry shampoo, to keep her blonde mane voluminous and add cool-girl texture. Plus as she’s on tour with the band, we gather she wouldn’t have much time to wash her hair.
£22.00 FROM CULT BEAUTYThe beauty product Simone Jackson would love

Disco Queen Simone Jackson is nothing if not a female boss. We reckon Sunday Riley’s C.E.O Glow Face Oil would be right up her street. Advanced vitamin C and golden turmeric impart instant vibrance and deliver antioxidant defence, useful for partying the night away, while cold-pressed nutrient-rich extracts nurture skin to leave it looking radiant.
