Matthew McConaughey Camila Alves Attend Gala With Kids

It was a big night for Matthew McConaughey yesterday, as his nonprofit Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M) hosed its 12th annual gala in Austin, Texas. And, to make things even more special, the evening doubled as a rare family affair.

The Interstellar star walked the blue carpet accompanied by his wife Camila Alves and their three all-grown-up children, Levi, 15, Vida, 14, and Livingston, 11. The actor looked suave in a navy blue suit with a light blue button-down shirt and brown dress shoes. His sons, meanwhile, looked like spitting images of their dad in suits of their own and white sneakers. Alves brought the glamor in a black off-the-shoulder gown with a low-scoop neckline and sequin embellishments, paired with satin black pumps, oversize silver hoop earrings, and a wet-hair look. The couple's daughter was a carbon copy of her mom in a pretty pale-pink gown with a sweetheart neckline and flowy skirt with an embroidered flower pattern throughout.

MJ&M is a joint fundraising effort of McConaughey, country musician Jack Ingram, and football coaching legend Mack Brown. According to the official website, the gala is a two-day event that features music, golf, and fashion engagements with the goal of raising funds to benefit "select non-profit organizations that each reflect the MJ&M goal to empower kids." These organizations include CureDuchenne, Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, just keep livin Foundation, and The Rise School of Austin. Since its 2012 inception, MJ&M has given over $41 million to charities.

The last time the McConaugheys graced the red carpet as a family unit was in December 2021 for the Los Angeles premiere of Sing 2. More recently, McConaughey and Alves enjoyed a parents-only date night at the Oscars in March.
